" When I first started working with Dr. Golden, I thought that there was no way that I would ever have LASIK. Frankly, I was afraid of going blind. As I learned more, I found out that the chance of going blind from LASIK is much less than the chance of blindness from contact lenses. After working at the office, I started to see all of our happy patients after surgery, and I knew that LASIK would add much to my life. I asked Dr. Golden to perform my LASIK procedure and chose to have one eye set for near and the other set for far. This “monovision” solution works extremely well, and I no longer have to struggle to put my contact lenses in early in the morning.
